By KSTP The Twin Cities officially had it’s first Freeze ( 32 degrees or lower ) this morning at 31 degrees usually the first Freeze occurs October 11 and the latest first Freeze was November 18, 2016 and earliest Freeze September 3, 1974. During the Spring the last Freeze of the season is typically April 20. Sunshine this afternoon with highs in the upper 40s and Light Winds at 5 mph from the West. Clear Tonight with areas of Patchy Fog developing near Lakes and in River Valleys as water temperatures are in the 50s and air temperatures will be falling into the low 30s with Light Winds. Sunny and Nice for November on Saturday with highs in the low 50s and Southwest Winds at 5 to 15 mph. Partly Cloudy and becoming Breezy Saturday night with lows near 40 degrees. Sunday will be Sunny and Breezy with highs in the mid 50s. Extended Outlook: Mild on Monday and Sunny with highs in the low 60s then Partly Cloudy on Tuesday with highs in the mid 50s.
